Lampedusa restarts removal of migrant boats

The removal of small boats and dinghies that were abandoned after numerous arrivals in the past days has resumed in Lampedusa, between Favarolo pier and the waterfront of the new port. Workers and cranes from a specially appointed company are in action to clean up the areas. The Agrigento Prefecture is also monitoring to ensure that everything is done properly, avoiding pollution situations.
