Kira the dog finds missing man in Chiaramonte Gulfi: he was hiding in his childhood home.

Explain the following article briefly
From May 20th, his whereabouts were unknown, and the prefecture had dispatched Civil Protection teams, firefighters, and search and rescue dogs to search for the 65-year-old man who had been missing for two days in the countryside between Chiaramonte Gulfi and Monterosso, causing great concern among his family members.

He was found by one of the volunteer dogs, Kira, who located him inside a building. The man is fine, as he had wandered away from his home after a family argument. Following his relatives’ report, a search and rescue operation was activated, involving law enforcement, firefighters with search and rescue dogs, drones, and Tas specialists.

The regional civil protection department then requested the intervention of additional search and rescue dog units, along with other search teams scouring the area. The man was located in the Chiaramonte Gulfi area (Maltempo district) by a mixed-breed dog experienced in these operations; the missing man was hiding in a building he owned, where he had spent his childhood.

The area had already been searched by family members, but without success. “Kira’s sense of smell revealed his hiding place,” explained civil protection officials. The man was found in good health, as confirmed by the emergency medical services. Kira, under the guidance of Raffaele Sivillica, is one of the volunteer organization’s dogs that participate in routine training sessions organized monthly by Drpc Sicilia, in collaboration with the firefighters’ search and rescue dog teams, at the rubble field in Poggioreale, Trapani.
