There was a car accident on Via Risorgimento, at the corner of Via Ognibene, in Menfi. A Dacia Logan and an SUV collided. According to initial investigations, a 49-year-old man driving the car crashed violently into the SUV, leaving him injured. Emergency services were immediately alerted. An ambulance arrived at the scene, and the medical staff provided initial care. Due to the nature of his injuries, they called for a helicopter rescue. The man was airlifted to Sant’Elia Hospital in Caltanissetta. Local police and the municipal police also arrived at the accident site to investigate the exact dynamics of the incident. The family in the SUV was unharmed.
