The title of the conference is taken from John 12:24: “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.” This prophetic quote relates to the recent death of Biagio Conte, a lay missionary from Palermo, and the positive impact it has had. Many people from around the world, including young people, pilgrims, and visitors, are interested in the mission and the poverty issues it faces. The conference will be held on July 1st in Palermo and will feature speeches, prayers, and a mass.
