Illegal workers and citizenship income in Siracusa

The financial police in Augusta conducted a check at a construction site in the historic center and discovered a worker working “off the books”, for whom the hiring had not been communicated to the Employment Center. They also identified two employees without safety helmets. Reports were filed for them and the employer. Meanwhile, in Lentini, financial police discovered a bakery employing two workers “off the books”, who were also receiving citizenship income, just like the employer. The three were reported to INPS for the forfeiture of the benefit and to the prosecutor’s office.
