Illegal car body shop shut down by Carabinieri in Catania

An unauthorized body shop in Catania has been closed by the carabinieri during checks in the districts of Nesima and Monte Po carried out together with the municipal police. The activity did not have the required authorizations, including the Certified Start of Business Notification (Scia), the declaration attesting to moral and professional requirements, and the one related to urban, building and hygienic-sanitary conformity. The owner, who had also omitted registration with the Chamber of Commerce, was fined 5,164 euros. All equipment and work machinery found on the premises have been seized.
