Heating system restored at Costa school in Santa Rosalia village

This morning (December 11), in the presence of the Councilor of the Municipality of Palermo for Education and School Building Aristide Tamajo, the heating system was activated at the Gaetano Costa school in via Ughetti, in the Santa Rosalia Village. The school hosts four kindergarten sections and twenty primary school classes. The municipality of Palermo intervened on two fronts to restore the functioning of the heating system, which had stopped working last year after the Covid lockdown. AMG built the new heating system while the Palermo Sud Framework Agreement renovated the premises housing the system. The Councilor Tamajo expressed gratitude for the work done to provide the school with a new heating system, emphasizing the importance of returning schools to a condition of normality and civility. Councilor Salvo Imperiale also emphasized the priority of children’s well-being and the fulfillment of the commitment made last year to ensure a warm environment for the students. Other local officials and the school principal also expressed gratitude for the collaborative effort that made the restoration of heating in the school possible.
