Group violence in Palermo: last suspect remains in custody

Elio Arnao, one of the seven young men accused of gang-raping a 19-year-old girl in Palermo, has been denied release by the court. This decision follows the previous denial of release for the other five accomplices. Initially, the only minor in the group was granted release, but was later arrested after bragging about the crime on social media. The victim was assaulted on the night of July 7th along the waterfront of Foro Italico in Palermo.
