Giuseppe Felice Peritore appointed as new police chief of Trapani

Giuseppe Felice Peritore, 60 years old, is the new police chief of Trapani. Originally from Agrigento, he returns to Sicily, where he has held various positions in the past. Peritore leaves Imperia, where he has served since 2021. He has been in the police force since 1988 and was assigned to the Police Headquarters in Bergamo. From 1990 to 2014, he served at the Police Headquarters in Palermo and from August 2014 until June 2020, he was the deputy chief of the police in Agrigento. He will take office on May 6th. He succeeds Salvatore La Rosa, who, promoted to general manager, will assume the role of ministerial advisor at the Central Directorate for General Affairs and Personnel Policies of the police at the Ministry of the Interior.
