From fires to heavy rains: yellow alert in most of Sicily due to bad weather.

From the red alert for fires to the yellow alert for thunderstorms, the weather in Sicily is constantly changing. After a hot and sunny day, the protection agency has issued a yellow alert for seven out of nine provinces in Sicily due to strong southern winds, heavy rain, hail, frequent lightning, and strong gusts of wind. This weather system is also affecting other regions in Italy, such as Campania, Basilicata, Puglia, and Calabria. The disturbance responsible for this bad weather will gradually move southward, bringing rain and thunderstorms to central and southern regions.
