Four landings with 210 migrants at Lampedusa

The hotspot of Lampedusa, which had been vacant for just a few hours, is now hosting 210 people after four consecutive landings. Within a couple of hours, on the largest of the Pelagie Islands, patrol boats from the financial police and the coast guard brought groups ranging from a minimum of 14 Tunisians to a maximum of 114 Bengalis, Syrians, Egyptians, and Palestinians. Three migrants were taken, as a precaution, to the outpatient clinic in Contrada Grecale. According to the migrants who landed, the boats departed from Sabrata in Libya, Kerkennah, and Sfax in Tunisia.
