The A19 Palermo-Catania motorway is temporarily closed between Villabate and Palermo, in the direction of the capital, due to a fire. Firefighters and Anas personnel are on site for traffic diversion at the Villabate junction, causing long queues and inconvenience.

In the Messina area, due to fires, the SS113dir road has been closed from km 15.500 to km 20, in the Acqualadroni area, and the SS185 “Di Sella Mandrazzi” road has been closed from km 64.600 to km 64.800, in Taormina.
