The new railway timetable in Sicily will officially start on Monday, December 11th, but not everyone is happy with it. While the effort to make commuting easier is appreciated, many feel that the new schedules do not meet the needs of travelers to and from the airport, especially in the mornings. The president of the Ciufer committee, Giacomo Fazio, is calling for a significant increase in train frequency to the airport, particularly during peak travel times. The current schedule leaves gaps in service during morning and midday hours, which Fazio believes is insufficient. There will be a meeting with commuters at the Regional office to further adjust the schedule.
