Fatal collision in Siracusa between motorcycle and car claims life of 51-year-old man
Another fatal accident in Sicily, this time in Siracusa. Involved were a motorcycle, with a 51-year-old man riding it, and a Fiat Panda car, driven by a sixty-four-year-old. The accident occurred at dawn, on San Corrado crossroad, just outside the town. The impact was very violent and the motorcyclist died in the crash.
Emergency services were alerted and an ambulance from 118 arrived on the scene, but the doctors could only confirm the motorcyclist’s death, as the injuries were fatal.
The municipal police also arrived at the scene, and the officers carried out all the necessary investigations. The prosecutor’s office has opened an inquiry for road homicide. Both vehicles have been seized.
