Elderly pedestrian in Catania hit by car dies in hospital after 6 days of agony
An 83-year-old man, Giuseppe Bruno, who was hit by a car while crossing the street on March 19th, has passed away. The man, a well-known figure in the city and part of a family of craftsmen, suffered a serious head injury from the incident. He was immediately taken to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries after six days. This tragic event follows another incident in Catania earlier in March, where a 93-year-old man, Agatino Botta, was killed after being hit by a car while crossing the street.
