Drug market at a house in Gela: 23-year-old criminal arrested.

The Carabinieri of Gela, together with colleagues from the canine unit in Palermo, carried out an extraordinary territory control operation in Gela aimed at the search for illegal drugs. They arrested a 23-year-old Italian, who was found in possession of approximately 10 grams of cocaine, along with weighing scales and materials for packaging the drugs. They also seized around 10,000 euros, believed to be proceeds from drug dealing. Additionally, they found a blank firing pistol and ammunition. The arrested individual has been placed under house arrest, pending further judicial proceedings. It should be noted that at this stage, the suspects are only presumed innocent and their guilt will be determined by a court of law.
