Mamma Sicilia is a brand born from the love of Vincenzo and Manuel Scardamaglia, two young brothers from Palermo with a desire to enter the restaurant world. They were inspired by their love for Sicilian flavors and their passion for cooking, passed down from their mother Mimma. The project was born during the pandemic and is focused on traditional Sicilian pastries with a modern twist. The brothers are involved in the production, which is done entirely by hand in their workshops. They have had success in Palermo and expanded to online sales, and they recently opened a new production center dedicated to their artisanal panettone. They plan to open more stores and will be present at the Fancy Food show in New York in 2024. The family is involved in different aspects of the business, with the father handling accounting and the mother passing down her passion for cooking.
