Detergent warehouse catches fire in Lentini

A large fire broke out yesterday, Saturday, December 9, in a warehouse storing detergents on Via Piemonte in Lentini. The flames quickly spread, finding a fertile ground among the stacked merchandise in the warehouse. Passersby called the fire department for help, and teams from Lentini, Augusta, and Syracuse arrived to try to contain the fire that destroyed the building. No injuries were reported. The fire department is conducting investigations to determine the cause of the fire, and the police are also on the scene conducting inquiries.
