Denise Pipitone turns 23: Parents’ wishes and a mural in Mazara del Vallo

Denise Pipitone, who went missing on September 1, 2004 in Mazara del Vallo, is being remembered on her 23rd birthday. Her mother, Piera Maggio, posted a message wishing her a happy birthday and expressing how much they miss her. Denise’s biological father, Pietro Pulizzi, also wrote a heartfelt note, expressing his dedication and longing for his daughter. To commemorate her birthday, artist Fabio Ingrassia created a mural in Mazara del Vallo featuring Denise’s face and the word “Truth” in place of candles on a cake. Denise’s parents expressed gratitude for the gesture and thanked the artist for remembering their daughter.
