D-Factor project supports digital transition for ten start-ups in Palermo

A business acceleration program dedicated to ten teams, from all over Italy, in the fields of fashion, architecture, design, and craftsmanship. D-Factor is the project designed to offer concrete and innovative tools to support the digital transition of cultural institutions. The project was presented this morning in the Conference Hall of Sicindustria by Tommaso Aiello, president of the Emblema Foundation, in partnership with the Accademia Teatro alla Scala Foundation, Liv.in.g. srl Social Enterprise, Vulcanic, and WeStart OdV. The project aims to incentivize entrepreneurship and innovation in Sicily, with the support of the Ministry of Culture’s General Directorate for Contemporary Creativity. The ten teams will participate in a series of workshops, webinars, mentorship activities, and a concluding club deal involving companies, investors, and business angels. An additional capacity-building course will take place in Milan at the Accademia Teatro alla Scala Foundation in October to enhance the skills and competencies of cultural operators for a digital transformation.
