Crisis at the Enna municipality: Two assessors resign, disagreement with the mayor

The councilors of the Siamo Enna group, including incumbent mayor Maurizio Dipietro before he joined Italia Viva, have resigned from their positions in the Enna municipality. They cite a lack of acceptance for their ideas and imposition of rules aimed at diminishing their group and preventing them from making free choices. Councilors Serafino Torregrossa and Giuseppe Trovato also express their dissent and state that they will no longer support the mayor’s majority. This resignations disrupt the balance of the city government. The councilors hope that their departure will allow the mayor to form a capable team to address the city’s challenges.
