Cook from Villarosa leads Solidarity and Emergency Volunteers

Giuseppe Porpora, 28 years old, has been elected as the new president of the Solidarity Emergencies department of the Fic – Sicilia, a branch of the Italian Federation of Cooks. He grew up as a volunteer in the Civil Protection Volunteer Corps of Enna and has been involved in volunteering for about 15 years. The department, which focuses on solidarity, charity, and emergency cooking, was established in July 2019 by several members. Porpora’s election as president has been greeted with enthusiasm by the board of the Civil Protection Volunteer Corps of Enna.
