While he remains in intensive care, his condition has improved and his continued stay is precautionary for security and logistical reasons. Messina Denaro will stay in intensive care for a few more days before continuing his recovery in a different area of the hospital. A new space was created on the ground floor to accommodate his needs, equipped with necessary machinery for post-operative care and anti-tumor therapy.
