Commercial vehicle flies off Irosa viaduct, one dead and one injured

A road accident occurred on the Palermo-Catania highway, near Tremonzelli, where a heavy vehicle fell from a viaduct in the area of the Irosa exit. The driver and passenger of the vehicle were trapped and were extracted by firefighters and handed over to the medical personnel. An air ambulance also arrived at the scene. The investigation is being conducted by the highway police agents of Buonfornello.
