Comiso: Sixty-eight-year-old Deaf and Mute Man, Reported Missing in the Countryside, Found Dead

Giovanni Aprile, a 68-year-old deaf-mute man, was reported missing yesterday and his body has now been found lifeless. He left for the countryside to pick oregano but never returned home for lunch. His phone became unreachable around noon yesterday. Aprile’s car was found parked in the same area, leading the family and the police to search for him there. The cause of death is still unknown, but it’s possible that Aprile had a medical emergency while gathering herbs in the countryside.
