Closure of a section between Rosolini and Ispica on Siracusa-Gela road for 14 days.

The Syracuse-Gela highway, managed by the Sicilian Highway Consortium (Il Cas), is still under construction. According to the company, starting from 16:00 on October 30th until 12:00 on November 8th, 2023, the Syracuse-bound lane of the A18 highway will be closed from kilometer 43+100 to kilometer 41+700. At the same time, two-way traffic will be established on the corresponding uphill lane (direction Gela) in order to continue and complete maintenance work between the Rosolini junction and the Ispica-Pozzallo junction. This is not the first time in recent months that the Rosolini junction and the entire area have been subject to construction work and closures.
