Clinical and care complexity in Palermo: clinicians and patient associations around the round table.

Clinicians and patient associations speak the same language, share projects and intentions because ultimately everyone’s interest is the same: the well-being of the person and the achievement of a better quality of life.

Management of multidisciplinarity, more beds, global care of the person, training for doctors but also for the patient.

These are the common requests of patient associations that participated in the VII national conference, Clinical and Care Complexity, starting today at the Saracen Sands Hotel & Congress Centre in Isola delle Femmine, organized by Cicacongress and chaired by Professor Salvatore Corrao, professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Palermo and Francesco Perticone, emeritus professor of Internal Medicine at the University Magna Grecia of Catanzaro, which will run until Thursday, May 9. The first session of the first day was dedicated to the comparison between clinicians and associations.

The main takeaway is the importance of collaboration and understanding between clinicians and patient associations in providing holistic care and better quality of life for patients.
