Cianciana, 26-year-old beaten and stabbed: attacker identified
A 26-year-old boy was beaten and stabbed in Cianciana. According to an initial reconstruction, someone would have attacked the young man, a worker, on Martiri Street. The alarm was raised, and an ambulance from the 118 arrived on the scene, whose paramedics provided first aid and transferred the twenty-six-year-old to the Sant’Elia hospital in Caltanissetta by helicopter, where the on-duty doctors diagnosed him with a head injury and cuts to a leg.
Also arriving at the scene of the aggression were the carabinieri of the Cammarata Company who started the investigation, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office. After the site survey, the military were reportedly able to identify and track down the alleged aggressor.
He is a forty-year-old man also from Cianciana. An investigation has now been opened with the hypothesis of aggravated personal injury as a crime. The motive for the aggression is not known at this time.
