Catanese chased by carabinieri on the highway: arrested with 185 grams of cocaine

The carabinieri of the Mobile Unit of the Palagonia Company have arrested a 26-year-old man from Catania, who was already known to the police, for drug dealing and resisting a public official. The man fled in his car during a check on the Catania-Gela highway but was eventually caught and stopped by a patrol. Seven vacuum-sealed packages containing a total of 185 grams of cocaine were seized from his vehicle. His arrest was validated by the judicial authority, who applied house arrest as a measure against him. The seized drugs can be seen in the photo.
