Castelvetrano, fiamme in sagrestia alla parrocchia di Santa Lucia: i fedeli scappano fuori dalla chiesa

This morning, after a fire broke out in the sacristy of their parish in Castelvetrano, a group of faithful people did not let the fact that it was Easter stop them from cleaning the church. With vacuum cleaners, hoses, disinfectant, and colored milk, helped by the young friars and nuns of Jesus and Mary, the faithful people cleaned the areas affected by the fire this afternoon. Among the flames, a young woman’s cell phone was also burned. The friars quickly purchased and delivered a new phone this afternoon. “This is the beauty of living in your parish, feeling it as your own home,” commented the volunteers.
