The State Police arrested a 32-year-old man in the act of attempted burglary, violence, threat, resistance to a public official, and receiving stolen goods. The man was reported by neighbors who saw him climbing to the first floor of a building. When the police arrived, they caught the man trying to break into the first-floor window with a large wooden stick. He then attempted to escape by jumping from the balcony, but was intercepted by the officers. A search revealed he had a stolen wallet in his possession. The homeowner was notified and thanked the police for their quick and effective response.
