Burglary, fencing, and escaping house arrest: arrested in Valderice twice within 48 hours.

The police in Valderice arrested a 35-year-old criminal, not once but twice within 48 hours, for the crimes of receiving stolen goods and escaping from house arrest. The officers were called to a burglary and found the suspect inside the apartment, holding burglary tools and in possession of jewelry that appeared to have been stolen from the same apartment. The next day, he was caught by the police in the streets of the town, in clear violation of the judge’s orders, and arrested again for evasion. A subsequent search also led to the discovery of more stolen items, which were promptly confiscated.
