Boys playing with gas gun injure peer; girl loses eye
The police officers of the Comiso Police Station have reported two young men, a 19-year-old boy, deemed responsible for the crime of severely negligent and aggravated injuries for carrying a gas gun, and an 18-year-old boy, deemed responsible for the crime of illegal weapon possession. They would have injured a peer, shooting with a gas pistol, and seriously so, to the point of causing her to lose an eye.
In recent days, the personnel of the Comiso police station intervened at the emergency room of the Vittoria hospital where a girl arrived in serious condition, with a visible wound to one eye. Immediately initiating investigations, the officers reconstructed the entire sequence of events and ascertained that the young woman was at the Parco Ippari in Comiso with friends, one of whom was in possession of a freely available gas pistol and, due to an error in handling the weapon, the girl was injured in the face.
The victim underwent emergency surgery and suffered the loss of an eye.
