Borsellino’s children on D’Amelio street massacre: “We have been given a truth of lies”

She emphasized the need for concrete facts and evidence to uncover the truth, rather than allowing the theft of memory to continue. Borsellino also acknowledged that Senator Roberto Scarpinato had requested the letter calling for the removal of prosecutor Pietro Giammanco from the Palermo office, noting that Giammanco had never been questioned as a witness in the bombings.
