Body Forest Competition: Written Tests Begin for 20 Thousand Applicants

Around 20,000 candidates have been called to take the written exams for the public competition to become agents of the Sicilian Regional Forest Corps. Governor Renato Schifani wishes good luck to all the young aspirants, emphasizing the need to increase the number of personnel in the understaffed Corps. The selection process is seen as the first step toward that goal, and a revised agreement with the State will allow for further new hires. The exams are taking place in Catania and Siracusa, with approximately 1,348 candidates excluded from the process. The written tests consist of 60 multiple-choice questions and will continue until October 27. The hope is that the new agents will help address the various environmental, citizen, and business-related challenges that the Forest Corps faces.
