He had drugs and weapons at home, in Avola, but he was discovered and arrested. The carabinieri of Noto, supported by the military of the Avola and Pachino stations, the operational intervention company of the 12th Carabinieri Regiment in Sicily and the K-9 Unit of Nicolosi, arrested a 24-year-old man from the area, heavily suspected of illegal possession of weapons, ammunition, and drugs.

Following a home search, the man was found to be in possession of 2 rifles, one of which with a scratched serial number, and ammunition of various calibers, as well as 53 grams of drugs including cocaine, crack, marijuana, and hashish, along with materials for packaging and weighing.

After the formalities were completed, the arrested man was placed under house arrest at his residence, as ordered by the judicial authority.
