Arrested with cocaine in Catania: Licata resident betrayed by a bulge on his shirt

The carabinieri of the mobile unit of the Palagonia company have arrested a 42-year-old man from Licata in the act of possessing drugs for the purpose of trafficking. While conducting a routine road check on the SS417, the carabinieri noticed a Fiat Bravo driver with an unusual behavior, which raised their suspicions. Upon further investigation, they discovered that the man had hidden 55 grams of cocaine in his underwear. The 42-year-old man has been placed under house arrest at his mother’s house in Catania, pending further court proceedings. The arrest has been confirmed and the house arrest maintained.
