Arrest in Catania with Six Pounds of Marijuana, One Found in Freezer

A 45-year-old man has been arrested by the Mobile Team of Catania for drug dealing. He was found in possession of six kilograms of marijuana and 160 grams of cocaine. During a search of his apartment in the San Berillo Nuovo district, the police found one kilogram of marijuana in a thermal bag inside a freezer. They also seized a precision scale, 2,800 euros believed to be proceeds from drug sales, and an electric stun gun. In another apartment used by the man, the Mobile Team discovered an additional five kilograms of marijuana and 160 grams of cocaine. The arrest was authorized by a judge who ordered the man to be held in custody.
