Architect from Campobello remains silent before judge after lending identity to Messina Denaro
The architect Massimo Gentile, who lent his identity to the boss Matteo Messina Denaro and bought a motorcycle on his behalf, chose not to respond during the interrogation of guarantee, which took place via video conference. Gentile, originally from Campobello di Mazara, now lives in the province of Monza and before his arrest managed contracts and works financed with the Pnrr for the Municipality of Limbiate. Also, Cosimo Leone, a radiology technician at the hospital in Mazara del Vallo, remained silent on the same charge as Gentile during the interrogation. He is accused of helping the sick mafia boss undergo a CT scan and providing him with a cell phone during his hospitalization. On the other hand, Leonardo Gulotta, the third arrested person, claimed to be innocent and is charged with external participation in mafia association. He provided his cell phone number to the former fugitive.
