Alia ready for 11th edition of SiciliAlleva

Zootecnia, traditions and flavors are the protagonists of the eleventh edition of SiciliAlleva, an event that will take place in Alia from tomorrow, October 6, until Sunday, October 8. The aim of the event is to deepen the themes of agricultural, rural and agri-food development in the area and to promote and enhance the agricultural and zootechnical sector. The event will officially start on Friday, October 6, with the setup of the stand and the arrangement of livestock. Various activities will take place throughout the event, including a dog show, an exhibition area, a food expo, and cooking shows. On Saturday, a conference will be held to discuss the future of SiciliAlleva, followed by workshops and showcases of different livestock breeds. On Sunday, there will be a breakfast in the fair, milk milking, and showcasing of the indigenous Sicilian horse. The event is organized by the Municipality of Alia in collaboration with regional agricultural and productive activities departments, the Metropolitan City, the Regional Council, and the experimental zootechnical institute. The mayor of Alia invites visitors to participate in the event and highlights the importance of supporting the local zootechnical sector.
