Agrigento, accident on state road 115: truck driver injured

Another road accident occurred on the state highway 115 “Southwestern Sicily”, at kilometer 193.400, at the Mosella intersection, in Agrigento. An car and a truck collided for reasons still under investigation. The impact was very strong and the truck driver was injured. The vehicles blocked the road, preventing traffic from passing in both directions. An ambulance arrived on the scene and medical staff provided initial care to the injured person, transferring them to the emergency room at the San Giovanni di Dio hospital in Agrigento. Traffic remained temporarily blocked for several hours. Anas personnel also arrived on the scene to secure the road and manage traffic.
