Acireale, vandalizzato il parco auto della croce rossa

An bitter Easter eve for the Red Cross in Acireale. Unknown individuals entered the Red Cross vehicle depot in the middle of the night, vandalizing several vehicles used in the municipalities under the jurisdiction of the Acese health district. The depot is located in a structure owned by the municipality of Acireale, which also houses the tax office, in via Lazzaretto.

The vandals are said to have acted undisturbed, damaging the windows of several vehicles. They also defaced everything in the depot with white paint. An act that, according to Red Cross officials, “does not deserve comments.” Investigations are underway following the report to the Carabinieri.
