Acireale man violates restraining order, ends up in jail

A man violates the restraining order prohibiting him from approaching his ex and ends up in jail. The officers of the police station of Acireale were sent to via Passo di Aci to enforce a court order in which the judge has ordered the aggravation of the measure of house arrest, replacing it with pre-trial detention in prison, against a 26-year-old man with a criminal record.

The man, under house arrest for stalking his ex-girlfriend, had repeatedly left his house without any plausible justification. Once located, the officers escorted him to the prison of Piazza Lanza in Catania.
