A29: Car vs. Truck Accident, Car Overturns, 2 Injured, Traffic Blocked
This morning, around 7 am, a car traveling towards Trapani collided with a truck on the Palermo-Mazara del Vallo highway near the Falcone Borsellino airport exit and overturned. Two people were slightly injured. Two 118 ambulances arrived on the scene, providing initial care before transporting the injured to the Cervello Hospital in Palermo. The fire brigade, highway police, and Anas personnel also arrived at the scene. Long traffic jams formed, but the flow returned to normal after the vehicles were removed.
