A meeting place for criminals, betting center-bar in Catania shut down
The activity of a betting center with an attached bar on Via Plebiscito in Catania has been closed for seven days by the State police because the premises were a habitual meeting place for criminals. The officers have notified the owner of a provision from the police chief. In the weeks prior, following numerous checks carried out by the patrol personnel, many of the patrons were found to have criminal records related to property crimes, crimes against persons, and drug offenses.
