Deputy’s Car Scratched in Palermo’s Parliament – La Vardera
Ismaele La Vardera, a deputy elected with De Luca’s party, had his car scratched while parked in Palermo. This is not the first time his car has been vandalized, as the window was previously broken and his journalist ID stolen. Despite feeling discouraged, La Vardera remains resilient, stating that those who seek to damage him only have the opposite effect. President of the Region Renato Schifani expressed his solidarity, condemning any attempts to intimidate a representative of the institutions. He is confident that these actions will not stop La Vardera’s work as a parliamentarian in the Ars, where he also serves as vice president of the Anti-Mafia commission.
