Gazzetta del Sud journalist’s car burned: “They will never stop journalistic investigations”
The car of Italian journalist Luigi Cristaldi, who collaborates with the Gazzetta del Sud, was set on fire in the night. The vehicle, owned by the journalist’s father, was completely destroyed. The incident has sparked immediate solidarity from colleagues and friends, as well as condemnation from local authorities, the Order of Journalists of Calabria, and the Calabrian Journalists Union. They have all expressed their support for Cristaldi and their determination to continue their work despite the intimidation. The local press association also condemned the act and called for the authorities to bring those responsible to justice.
