Five migrants arrested between Lampedusa and Agrigento.

The mobile police team in Agrigento has arrested 5 immigrants, 3 of whom were apprehended in Lampedusa, where they had recently landed despite being subject to deportation orders. A 35-year-old Tunisian man was arrested in Agrigento based on a detention order issued by the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Macerata: he must serve a sentence of 3 years, 6 months, and 15 days for violating immigration laws. A 41-year-old Egyptian man was also detained for immigration violations. The first three individuals were placed under house arrest in the Lampedusa hotspot, while the other two were taken to the Agrigento prison.
