Girl hit by car while crossing the street on pedestrian crossing: taken to hospital.

A girl was injured this morning in Erice after being hit by a car while crossing the road. The young girl was on Via Manzoni and was crossing on the pedestrian crosswalk when she was hit by a vehicle. The driver immediately stopped and provided assistance. An ambulance arrived at the scene of the accident. The paramedics provided first aid and transported the injured woman to the emergency room at the Sant’Antonio Abate hospital in Trapani. According to preliminary information, the girl’s condition is not of major concern. Police officers also arrived at the scene and conducted all necessary investigations, questioning the driver and witnesses. Traffic and congestion were created in the area. Only after attending to the injured woman, conducting investigations, and removing the vehicle did the traffic situation return to normal.
