Over 30 fire department interventions for blocked cars, branches, and debris in Nisseno due to bad weather.

Over thirty interventions by the firefighters of the Caltanissetta command during the night due to the strong storm that hit the province, with rain and strong gusts of wind.

In addition to the capital, the most affected municipalities were Gela, Sommatino, and Riesi. Firefighters intervened mainly for flooded houses, cars stuck in the mud, branches, and debris on the roads. Currently, the operational center of the firefighters has about twenty more interventions waiting to be carried out.

Today an orange alert is expected in Caltanissetta. Mayor Walter Tesauro has ordered the closure of green areas, the municipal cemetery, and reserves. He also urged citizens to move only if strictly necessary.
